Weathering is the process of wearing by long exposure to the atmosphere—the destruction and creation of landscapes by the long passage of geological time.
Weathering is an exploration of these natural processes that shape the landscapes around us, told through the medium of film photography – itself an example of exposure facilitating creation. These photographic works serve as an alternative, and an accompaniment, to Flo Isaacs’ scientific research into the same subject. Weathering gives great weight to the idea that art and science are two sides of the same coin, different approaches to make sense of the world we live in.
Flo Isaacs is a photographer based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Flo uses the medium of film photography to engage with themes of place, space, belonging, and environmental change. Their work is often shaped and informed by the research and field work that they undertake as a climate scientist. Flo’s first solo exhibition, I may be some time, was shown at DIRT Gallery in 2018.
Shipping within NZ and Australia can be arranged. This will be through an art courier company and you can pay them directly- this includes insurance. Please contact us with your address and we will pass this on- they will then send you a quote and invoice.

Returns
The stock is constantly changing and is not completely managed by us because of the involvement of several different parties, such as the factory and our warehouse. The stock levels may fluctuate at any moment. Be aware that your order may become unfulfilled once you've placed your order.
Our policy lasts for 30 days. We cannot exchange or refund your order when it's been 30 days from the date of purchase.
To be eligible for a return your product must be unopened and in the same condition as when you received it in. It must also be in its original packaging.
